Making homemade raw cat food using the Hare Today raw pet food component (meat/bone/organ).I use a recipe based on those at catinfo.org, catnutrition.org, and blakkatz.com. Hi Lynette-You have some really useful tips here, even for those of us who have made for a few times before: putting the bags inside the plastic shaker whn filling; using the shaker to mix the supplements (great idea) and also the knowledge that measuring 100% perfect is ok.G

I HEARD they use cat juices in like whiskers , my cats best friend died of tooth cancer and sometimes I wonder if he is eating his best friend. Im guessing the reason why he usually doesn't eat his cat food it because he smells his best friend

Hi, I went to CVS and GNC but didn't have any luck with the powder or capsule taurine(sp) or oil. Can you please tell me where you get yours? Tx

Raw still give me greatest results. I do my kitty meals with the mini-ziploc snack bags. I will make a grand amount of ground cornish hen (I grind whole except for thigh bones), with egg white and appropriate liver, peas, sometimes sweet potato, Omega fish gels, etc. then I separate & save in these little snack ziplock thingies pre-portioned... works well. Just nuke a hot water bowl for 20 secs and let the baggie sit there while, they will cry for it, cuz it's good food

I adapted the recipe from Dr. Lisa Pierson's (and the others that derived from a similar source.)They can leave it at your door, without a signature. Cost is on their website - hare-today dot com.You can order directly from the company, or through a distributor (like Mousabilities).
